Senate votes to confirm Judge Martin
Yesterday, the Senate voted 97-0 to confirm Judge Beverly Martin to a seat on the Eleventh Circuit. Here's a link from www.mainjustice.com.
Amy Lee Copeland is the principal of the creatively-named Amy Lee Copeland,LLC, a firm in Savannah, Georgia, specializing in appellate litigation and federal criminal defense matters. She began her own firm in September 2009, after serving almost ten years as the Appellate Chief for the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Georgia. She estimates that she has written about 400 briefs in the Eleventh Circuit and argued over 40 cases before that Court.
